Fusion Study Foundation

Fusion Study Foundation (FSF)

The Fusion Study Foundation (FSF) was established in 2005 through a partnership between United Way of Baroda and Stichting Fusion Study Foundation, Netherlands, with the generous support of the Van der Wijk family. The initiative was launched to enable meritorious students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds to pursue higher education in engineering, medicine, and other professional disciplines. In 2010, the programme was further strengthened with the support of corporate partners and members of the United Way of Baroda Board, expanding its reach and impact.

Built on a sustainable, interest-free educational loan model, the programme empowers students to complete their education, secure meaningful careers, and achieve financial independence. Beyond supporting individual students, the initiative uplifts entire families by creating pathways to employment in multinational corporations, leading national organisations, and emerging start-ups. Having supported more than 1,460 students to date, the Fusion Study Foundation continues to foster a culture of responsibility and giving back, encouraging beneficiaries to support future generations and creating a lasting cycle of educational empowerment.

Student Get Together

The bi-annual UWB–FSF Student Get Together is a flagship engagement platform that brings together students, alumni, mentors, trustees, and supporters to celebrate the shared journey of the Fusion Study Foundation while fostering learning, networking, and personal growth. The event serves as an opportunity to strengthen the FSF community through inspiring keynote sessions, meaningful interactions, and the exchange of ideas. In July 2025, the Foundation celebrated 20 years of educational excellence, marked by the launch of Endeavour 2025 and an inspiring session by Ms. Kanan Joshi on “CTRL+U: Unlock Yourself,” attended by over 230 students. The first gathering of 2026 welcomed more than 200 students for an enriching programme featuring Mr. Hardik Prajapati’s session on “Happy Mind, Aligned Life,” focusing on emotional well-being, self-awareness, and personal development. Together, these gatherings continue to inspire students, strengthen lifelong connections, and nurture a supportive community committed to educational excellence.

United Fusion Study Foundation (UFSF)

Empowering Ambitions Through Educational Support

The United Fusion Study Foundation (UFSF) is a flagship initiative of United Way of Baroda, launched in collaboration with the Stichting Fusion Study Foundation (FSF), Netherlands. Since 2005, the program has been a transformative step towards empowering underprivileged yet deserving students in Gujarat to pursue higher education in professional fields such as engineering, medicine, commerce, and more.

Many talented students, despite gaining admission to reputed institutions, are often held back by financial constraints. UFSF bridges this gap by offering interest-free educational loans that cover essential academic expenses, including tuition, coaching, accommodation, and other related costs.

This unique initiative operates on a sustainable model, enabling students to pursue their academic goals without financial burden while instilling a sense of responsibility to contribute back to the fund. Through this approach, UFSF not only supports individual growth but also creates a cycle of empowerment, where each beneficiary becomes a catalyst for change in their community.

Fusion Study Foundation Program

in support with Stichting Fusion Study Foundation

Launched in the year 2005, Fusion Study Foundation Program completed 17 years of its implementation leaving behind more than 1000+ students successfully graduated/post graduated from renowned educational institutes. This program provides Interest-free loan to the deprived and diligent students who hail from weak financial background and who wish to pursue their desired career fields including Engineering, Pure Sciences, Applied Sciences, Medical Science, Business Administration, Accountancy and various other streams of Education.

Since 2008, the biannual Get Together event in Vadodara has served as a platform for students, alumni, funders, and UWB trustees to connect and collaborate. This all-day event fosters mentorship, as juniors gain valuable insights from seniors, building a strong and supportive community.

By nurturing talent and breaking financial barriers, the Fusion Study Foundation continues to transform lives and foster a brighter future for Gujarat.
