RANGMANCH

Organised annually to commemorate World Disability Day, Rangmanch is one of United Way of Baroda’s flagship events dedicated to celebrating the remarkable talents, resilience, and achievements of specially-abled children and youth. Bringing together 24 partner NGOs, the event provides a vibrant and inclusive platform where participants showcase their artistic, cultural, and creative abilities through dance, music, drama, and other performances. More than a cultural programme, Rangmanch is a celebration of dignity, diversity, and equal opportunity, encouraging society to look beyond disabilities and recognize the immense potential within every individual. The event fosters confidence among participants, strengthens community engagement, and promotes meaningful interactions between persons with disabilities and the wider community. By creating an environment of acceptance, encouragement, and appreciation, Rangmanch reinforces United Way of Baroda’s commitment to building an inclusive society where every individual is empowered to express themselves, pursue their aspirations, and be celebrated for their unique abilities.

KSHITIJ

Celebrated annually on the occasion of National Youth Day, Kshitij is a heartwarming flagship initiative of United Way of Baroda that promotes inclusion, friendship, and social harmony by bringing together specially-abled children, youth volunteers, corporates, educational institutions, and community members. The event serves as a platform to sensitise young people towards the importance of disability inclusion while creating opportunities for meaningful interaction and shared experiences. Participants enjoy a day filled with kite flying, cultural performances, music, dance, games, and traditional Gujarati delicacies, fostering an atmosphere of joy, laughter, and togetherness. Beyond the festivities, Kshitij encourages empathy, mutual respect, and the breaking down of social barriers by demonstrating that inclusion is achieved through participation and understanding. Living up to its name, which means “horizon,” the event inspires everyone with the belief that “The sky is not the limit—it’s where dreams take flight,” reflecting United Way of Baroda’s vision of empowering every individual to reach their fullest potential regardless of their abilities.

KALA JUNCTION

Kala Junction is United Way of Baroda’s flagship educational and youth development initiative designed to inspire creativity, innovation, and intellectual excellence among school students. The event provides a dynamic platform where children from diverse backgrounds participate in a wide range of art, literary, cultural, and knowledge-based competitions that encourage creative expression, critical thinking, teamwork, and healthy competition. By creating opportunities for young minds to showcase their talents and develop confidence, Kala Junction promotes holistic learning beyond the classroom. The programme culminates in a grand Prize Distribution Ceremony that recognises and celebrates outstanding performances, motivating students to pursue excellence in their chosen fields. In addition to fostering creativity, the initiative extends educational support to underprivileged children through the distribution of educational kits and scholarships, helping remove financial barriers to learning and ensuring that deserving students have access to quality educational opportunities. Through Kala Junction, United Way of Baroda continues to invest in the next generation by nurturing confident, compassionate, and socially responsible young leaders who are equipped to contribute meaningfully to society.

KHUSHIYON KA UTSAV

Khushiyon Ka Utsav is one of United Way of Baroda’s cherished flagship initiatives dedicated to bringing happiness, hope, and a sense of belonging to orphan and single-parent children. Organised with the belief that every child deserves moments of joy and celebration, the event creates a memorable experience filled with fun, laughter, and meaningful connections. This year, over 500 children from 22 NPSS Government Schools came together to participate in a day of exciting games, cultural performances, music, dance, and interactive activities designed to celebrate the spirit of childhood. The highlight of the event was the distribution of gifts personally chosen by each child, transforming a simple gesture into a powerful expression of care, dignity, and recognition. More than just a celebration, Khushiyon Ka Utsav provides emotional encouragement and reinforces the message that every child is valued, loved, and supported by the community. Through this initiative, United Way of Baroda continues to nurture hope, strengthen emotional well-being, and create joyful experiences that leave a lasting impact on the lives of vulnerable children.
