At United Way of Baroda, internships are designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and practical experience. Interns work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to meaningful social initiatives, and gain an understanding of how community-focused programmes are planned, implemented and monitored.
Interns can explore diverse areas including education, healthcare, livelihoods, environmental sustainability, CSR, communications and community development. The experience extends beyond the workplace, providing opportunities to engage with communities, understand ground-level realities, take responsibility, collaborate with teams and develop practical skills in a professional environment.
The internship programme welcomes students who are curious to learn, willing to contribute and eager to make a meaningful difference. More than 80 interns from colleges and universities across Gujarat and different parts of India have joined United Way of Baroda, gaining valuable professional exposure while contributing to initiatives that address real community needs.
Through this experience, students develop practical skills, leadership abilities, teamwork and a deeper understanding of the social development sector, helping them make informed choices about their academic and professional journeys.
