At United Way of Baroda, we believe that an inclusive society is one where every individual, regardless of ability or circumstance, has the opportunity to live with dignity, independence, and equal access to opportunities. Our Social Inclusion initiatives are dedicated to empowering persons with disabilities and other vulnerable communities by fostering participation, enhancing capabilities, and creating environments where everyone can thrive.
Through close collaboration with over 20 NGOs and specialised institutions across Vadodara, we support a wide range of interventions including developmental and therapeutic services, special education, vocational training, assistive infrastructure, capacity building, and institutional strengthening. These initiatives enable individuals with diverse abilities to develop life skills, gain confidence, improve employability, and lead more independent lives.
Beyond programme implementation, United Way of Baroda creates meaningful platforms that celebrate talent, encourage community participation, and promote inclusion through flagship events such as the Kshitij Kite Festival and Rangmanch. These events provide persons with disabilities an opportunity to showcase their abilities, interact with the wider community, and challenge social barriers, reinforcing the message that every individual deserves recognition, respect, and equal opportunities.
By bringing together corporate partners, civil society organisations, volunteers, and communities, United Way of Baroda continues to build a more compassionate and inclusive society where diversity is celebrated, abilities are nurtured, and every individual is empowered to achieve their fullest potential.
