The Umang Educational Scholarship is a dedicated initiative of United Way of Baroda that ensures deserving students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds are not deprived of quality education due to financial constraints. The programme was established with the vision of empowering talented students by providing the financial support they need to pursue their academic aspirations and build successful futures. Recognising education as one of the most powerful tools for social transformation, the scholarship seeks to remove economic barriers that often prevent bright students from continuing their studies.
Since its inception, the Umang Educational Scholarship has supported 313 meritorious students across Vadodara District, enabling them to continue their educational journey with confidence, dignity, and determination. By covering essential educational expenses, the initiative not only promotes academic excellence but also encourages students to remain committed to their studies and pursue higher education without interruption. Beyond financial assistance, the programme instils hope, strengthens self-belief, and empowers students to become self-reliant individuals capable of creating meaningful change within their families and communities.
Through sustained investment in education, United Way of Baroda continues to bridge the financial gap that limits opportunities for many deserving students, ensuring that talent and determination—not economic circumstances—define a child’s future.
