NGO Conclave

On 16th December 2024, United Way of Baroda hosted an insightful NGO Conclave, providing a dynamic platform for NGOs to engage in knowledge-sharing and discussions on critical compliance areas, including:

  • Income Tax Compliance
  • Updates in FCRA & CSR Regulations
  • Compliance under the Bombay Public Trust (BPT) Act – Gujarat

The session was led by the esteemed Mr. Noshir Dadrawala, CEO of the Centre for Advancement of Philanthropy, a renowned expert in the development sector.

Key Highlights:

  • 120 Participants attended
  • 69 NGOs from Vadodara District were represented

Environment Conclave

United Way of Baroda, proudly hosted the Environment Conclave for two consecutive years, 2023 and 2024. This landmark event brought together stakeholders from corporate, academic, civic, and social sectors to foster dialogue, share knowledge, and inspire action toward environmental sustainability.

Environment Conclave 2023
The 2023 edition focused on three critical thematic areas:

  • Best ESG Practices
  • Rural to Urban Transition
  • Decentralized Waste Management

Distinguished speakers, passionate participants, and dedicated organizations came together to explore innovative solutions for creating a cleaner, greener future.

Environment Conclave 2024
The conclave gathered over 200 stakeholders to advance cross-sectoral collaboration. The event commenced with a documentary screening that showcased United Way of Baroda’s Community Impact Projects and their alignment with 12 of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Women’s Day Exhibition

United Way of Baroda hosted “Empower Her, Celebrate Her”, a two-day event dedicated to celebrating women entrepreneurs and supporting NGOs working towards women’s empowerment & Divyang. The Event was organised at Trisha Gallery on 15th & 16th March 2025.

This vibrant fair provided a dynamic platform for women to:

  • Showcase their talents and creativity
  • Display and sell unique, high-quality products
  • Connect with customers and network with fellow entrepreneurs
  • Expand their reach and work toward financial independence

Event Highlights:

  • 10 NGOs participated
  • 13 Women Exhibitors showcased their products
  • Total Revenue Generated around ₹1,00,00

Blood Donation Drive

On June 13, 2025, United Way of Baroda (UWB) hosted a Blood Donation Drive on the observance of World Blood Donor Day.. 

This initiative, inspired by the belief that “One unit of blood can save three lives,” saw enthusiastic participation from donors, collecting 60 units of blood to save lives, showcasing the power of selfless giving.

UWB banks on such initiatives and remains committed to building a healthier, stronger community.
