Mission Shiksha

Rebuilding Futures Through Education

Mission Shiksha was launched by United Way of Baroda as a compassionate response to the challenges  faced by children affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly those who lost one or both parents  to the virus. Recognizing the emotional and financial hardships these children endure, the initiative was  developed to ensure that their education continues uninterrupted and their hope for a better future  remains alive.

The project offers holistic support by covering school fees, educational supplies, and other essential  needs, enabling the children to focus on their learning without the burden of financial uncertainty.  Mission Shiksha also includes outreach and awareness efforts to inform affected families about the  assistance available and to guide them in accessing support.

Currently implemented across multiple districts in Gujarat, Mission Shiksha reflects the power of timely  intervention and community support. Its success is a result of generous contributions from United Way  Worldwide and the unwavering commitment of the trustees of United Way of Baroda. Together, they  are helping children reclaim their right to education and rebuild their lives with dignity and confidence.
