Vishnubhai Amin Orphan & Destitute and Single Parents Project

Children need the most care during their formative years, which eventually shapes their Future. United Way of Baroda since 2006 has been supporting over 15227 Orphan, Destitute, and Single Parent-children of Vadodara district every year under the Vishnubhai Amin Orphan and Destitute project and Community Impact Program. We provide Educational Kits to each beneficiary and year-round activities with these vulnerable children such as festival celebrations, educational tours, and several other activities for the overall development of the children.

Under the project United Way of Baroda provides customized Educational Kits as per their grades (20 Items) comprising School bags, notebooks, lunch boxes, water bottles, pens, pencils, compass boxes, Glue, and other stationery items.

About 20 million children, about 4% of their population in India and higher than people living in Delhi, are orphan. Of them, parents of only 0.3% children have died and rest have been abandoned. For more than one and half decade (17 years), United Way of Baroda has been supporting orphan and destitute children in support with Vishnubhai Amin by providing educational kit as per their grade standard every academic year.

Also, students are facilitated with educational tours/visits, healthcare & nutritional facilities, and recreational activities.
