Elderly ages is the age of any individual, which is required for support and care to make their lives cheerful and peaceful.

United Way of Baroda initiated Gold Card Scheme Project in the year 1998 successfully completed its 25 years which has served more than 12158 senior citizens through provision of 60000+ services to make their life hassle free.

Health Related Services

1. Home visit by trained nurse twice a year.
2. General health check-up once a year at reputed multi-specialty hospitals.

Household Related Services

1. Every month 2-3 bills of their choice collected, remitted and the receipt returned.
2. Service of a Plumber; Electrician and T.V Technician at their doorstep once a month.

Case Study

Vimlaben Kadiya is 79-year-old Gold Card member at United Way of Baroda since last 25 years. She was sharing the list of problems she used used to face before getting in touch for membership under Gold Card Project. She said that going outside work turns out to be the difficult task as any individual knows that as the age increases, physical strength decreases. She was conveying her gratitude towards United Way of Baroda saying, “Gold card member thavathi amari ghani chinta ochhi thai che. Ummar thavane lidhe ame bahar nathi jai shakta tethi aa service amari mate bau upyogi che.”
