Kerala Flood Relief

In the aftermath of the catastrophic floods, UWB provided INR 12 Lakhs in aid to assist the Kerala State Government. This contribution supported relief initiatives in 9 locations of Wayanad District, including:

  • Cleaning and restoration of 29 wells (desilting, chlorination).
  • WASH awareness programs benefiting 5,000 individuals.
  • Income stability initiatives for affected families.

Kerala State Government received financial aids up to INR 1.2 Million to safeguard our countrymen from Kerala Floods. The funds was utilised for the following activities in 9 locations of Wayand District of Kerala.

  • Cleaning of 24 wells (removing contaminated water, desilting and chlorination).
  • Restoration of 5 damaged wells (including cleaning).
  • WASH Awareness generation targeting 5000 individuals in gram panchayat.
  • Income stability.
