Kala Junction
Kala Junction is a hub for creativity, intellectual engagement, and healthy competition among the youth. The event fosters a sense of community and intellectual growth, emphasizing the importance of creativity, artistic expression, and curiosity in today’s world. United Way of Baroda continues to champion youth development through initiatives like this, supporting and nurturing the next generation of creative and intellectual minds. The Prize Distribution Ceremony recognizes exceptional talent, celebrating the achievements of young minds.
Kala Junction also extends support to underprivileged children, providing them with educational kits and scholarships to aid their academic journeys. Through initiatives like this, United Way of Baroda champions youth development, nurturing the next generation of creative and intellectual leaders.
The Public Education Committee of United Way Baroda has been organizing Inter-School Competition entitled ‘Kala Junction’ since last 22 years for the school children. Various competitions like poster making, essay writing and Folk Dance competition are organized with an objective to develop their personality, sensitize and mould their mind towards the social issues and current affairs of our country. The event provides an opportunity to the budding minds to show-case their talents. The children get exposure, recognition and learn through meeting and interacting with the students and teachers of other participating schools. This year there was a participation of more than 600 students from over 70 schools of Vadodara.
